Andrzej Jarczyk
President of TUW PZUW Management Board
He has been involved in the insurance market for nearly 30 years. During this time, he went through all levels of the industry career – from an insurance agent, through a head of sales departments, to the position of the Management Board President.

He has extensive experience in managing life and non-life insurance companies, insurance intermediary companies and brokerage companies.

From 2007 to 2010, he served as President of the Management Board of Generali Group companies in Poland, and from 2010 to 2017, he headed the Management Board of Uniqa.

He graduated from the University of Economics in Katowice and the University of Bochum. He is also a graduate of the Eurekans Management Development Program, delivered by the University of Edinburgh, the University of Chicago in Barcelona and INSEAD France.

 

Tomasz Mańko
Vice-President of PKO Ubezpieczenia Management Board
He has been associated with the BNP Paribas Group in Poland for 18 years. He participated in the creation and development of insurance companies of the TUnŻ Group, Cardif Polska and Cardif ARD Branch in Poland.

Since 2017, he has been a member of the management board of PKO Ubezpieczenia. In August 2021, he was appointed Vice President of the Management Board. He is responsible for sales, distribution and marketing, as well as the customer area. He specializes in projects related to key areas for insurance, such as: sales management, customer centricity, modern insurance offer, leasing and retail banking.

Member of the Property Insurance Distribution Committee of the Polish Insurance Association, the Program Board of the European Financial Congress and the Supervisory Board of Connectiva. Participant of numerous  debates during prestigious industry congresses.

He graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics. He is a graduate of the MBA program run by the Université du Québec à Montréal and the Warsaw School of Economics.

 

 
Mariusz Wojciech Wichtowski
Chairman of the Polish Motor Insurers’ Bureau
The Chairman of the Polish Motor Insurers’ Bureau since September 2000. In the years 2010 till 2015 the President of the Council of Bureaux of the Green Card System.

Lawyer by training - graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland.

Professional career began at the WARTA Insurance and Reinsurance Company subsequently acted as Head of Department of the transborder claims. In 1987-1988 the scholarship holder of Munich Reinsurance Company. In the years 1990 -2000 member of the board and afterwords the CEO of the insurance companies. From 1996 till 2005 Member and subsequently Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Insurance Guarantee Fund.

Author of many articles about the Motor TPL, transborder claims settlement and practical aspects of the Motor Insurance Directives. Active participant in the legislation processes with reference to implementation of the insurance directives, insurance acts and executive acts.

 

 
Adam Śliwiński
Director of the Institute of Risk and Financial Markets, SGH
Professor, Director of the Institute of Risk and Financial Markets at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics and Head of the Department of Risk and Insurance in this institute. A graduate of the Lublin University of Technology, the University of Central Lancashire and Cambridge University, Judge Business School.

In 2001, he obtained a doctoral degree in economics in the Warsaw School of Economics. Since 2001, he has been associated with business practice. One of the most important business projects was the establishment of the Postal Mutual Insurance Company. In the years 2002–2011, he cooperated with this entity. From 2007 to 2009, he worked for a London-based investment firm, where he held the position of Non-Executive Director. In 2015, he co-founded the Medicum Mutual Insurance Company, where he took the position of the President of Management Board. In 2013, he obtained a degree Habilitated Doctor of Economic Sciences in Finance. In 2017, he was appointed Chairman of the Commission for Actuarial Examinations. He held this position for 5 years. Currently, he is an independent member of the supervisory boards of companies from the Allianz Group in Poland.

By the order of the President of the Republic of Poland of 15 December 2021, he was awarded the title of professor of social sciences.
